Kiara Chagan  Industrial & Organisational Psychology Honours, UCT

I'm finishing my Honours in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at the University of Cape Town in 2026. My focus is how organisations manage change. I also intern at an AI startup. I want to help organisations make changes that people can understand and put into practice.

I built this site myself. Scroll to see my work.

01 · My thesis

1. Click an expectation the firm fails to meet. Watch the zone of acceptance shrink.

In this example, all 12 expectations start as met.

My Honours research is a qualitative study of how accounting trainees at audit and accounting firms describe unmet expectations. I examine turnover, work quality and reporting wrongdoing. It is in progress, supervised by Prof Linda Ronnie. This model illustrates published work by Jones and Griep (2018), not my findings.

Published numbers

Published figures, not results from Kiara's research.

That's me, so far.

You've seen how I think. You can write back.

I plan to work full time in Johannesburg, in person, from January 2027. Consulting first, then organisational development and change management. Perhaps, in time, bringing AI into both.

I'm an Honours student. I'm not a psychologist.
